When my family had to move from Kendall to Pembroke Pines, we thought about tackling the move ourselves–how hard could it be, right? My wife and I have three kids aged 2, 6 and 10, so it turns out that moving is not so easy for us. When it took us three days to pack one box, we realized that we needed to hand this task over to the trusty moving professionals at Popeye’s. My sister used them and had nothing but great things to say about how they handled her move, so we decided to give them a try.
I never knew that moving could go so smoothly. They had us completely packed up, dropped off and unpacked in a number of hours. They took such great care of our belongings and even made sure that our youngest had her favorite toy for the ride over to the new house. I still can’t believe how quick it all went! My husband and I had lived in the same house for 32 years, so when we had to downsize and move into a smaller place, we were terrified of how much work would be involved. We knew we had to get rid of some stuff, but we would also need to stay organized during our move because once you get into a smaller space, it’s easy to get disorganized. Well, we were pleasantly surprised to see that Popeye’s kept all of our things in order during our move. When we got to our condo, it was surprisingly easily to unpack and arrange our things. It made our move so much easier. We miss our house where we raised all of our kids, but we are now comfortable in our new home and are not living in a mess!

I’m a do-it-yourself kind of guy, so when it came time to move, I figured I would just move everything myself. Well, my work schedule got really busy and I couldn’t do it. So I hired Popeye’s Moving to do the job. I was highly impressed with their professional service! I would definitely use them again. No move is too big or small for them.
We just had to move our office to a new location and as a new business owner, I was nervous about everything going off just right. While it was great that we were expanding to a new location, I couldn’t help but think of all the possible things that could go wrong. I was also very cautious about hiring movers–I have heard all kinds of stories of things getting broken or “lost” during an office move. One day I was sitting at a traffic light, worrying about the upcoming move, when I saw a Popeye’s truck driving by. Seeing this as a sign, I called them right then and there. I actually got to speak to the owner, Leo Genovese, and he was really helpful! He left such a great first impression that I decided to go with them before the light turned green.
Fast forward to moving day. The team of movers arrived on time and got right to work, packing up the whole office in no time! They took great care with our furniture and kept all of our computers, printers, phones, etc. well organized so that when we got to our destination, it was very easy to get set up and get back to work without missing a beat.
